These Terms of Use govern your use of EchoNotes. By downloading or using EchoNotes, you agree to these terms.

Using EchoNotes

EchoNotes helps you record or upload audio and create AI-generated transcripts, summaries, and notes. You are responsible for the content you submit and for obtaining all permissions, notices, and consents required to record or process another person's voice or other personal information.

AI-generated output

Transcripts, summaries, titles, and other AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review important information before relying on it. EchoNotes is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, educational, or emergency advice.

EchoNotes Pro subscriptions

EchoNotes Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription offered in monthly and yearly plans. The price, renewal period, available transcription allowance, and other plan details are shown in the purchase flow before you subscribe. Payment is charged to the store account you use to purchase.

Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel it through your store account or the subscription management option in the app where available. Refunds and billing issues are handled according to the policies of the store through which you purchased.

Usage limits

Free trials and Pro subscriptions may include transcription, recording length, request-rate, or fair-use limits. Limits are shown in the app or purchase flow and may be needed to protect service quality, prevent abuse, and manage third-party AI processing costs. We may refuse or limit requests that violate these terms or present security, technical, or cost risks.

Your content

You retain responsibility for your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process your content to provide the features you request. Do not use EchoNotes for unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or privacy-violating purposes.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of EchoNotes, including AI providers, models, features, and subscription offerings. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

EchoNotes is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, EchoNotes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of EchoNotes after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
